I-Requirements for a tourist visa:
1) Passport
a)
  US citizens : Original (no copies), signed by the applicant, with a minimum remaining validity of six months left and with at least two contiguous blank pages left.
b)
  Non US citizens :must present proof of legal residency, such as a photocopy of green card or of a valid visa in the United States, or an American Re-entry Permit.
c)
  Visas will be issued on a "laissez-passer" to nationals of the following countries: Bhutan, Central African Republic, Taiwan.
2) Receipt ("Protocolo"), signed by the applicant. To obtain the receipt, the applicant must:
a)
  click on this link and fill the visa-request form; Notice: ALL fields must be filled out, not only those indicated with an asterisk. Incomplete forms will be returned;
b)
  Print and sign the receipt. 
Notice : In case of visa application for minors under 18, the receipt must be signed by one parent or legal representative. For more information, read "Minors under 18 years of age", below;
3) One photograph
Passport size, in color or black and white, full-face only, on a white or clear background. Instant, digital, photocopies or scanned photos are not acceptable.
4) Round-trip-ticket
Applicants must present one of the items below:
a)
  a copy of the round-trip-ticket, e-ticket or e-booking;
b)
  a signed letter from the airline or travel agent, on their letterhead, with the itinerary, name(s) of the passenger(s), flight number or cruise information, and dates of arrival and departure from Brazil.  
Notice: Airline employees and their dependents must present a copy of their airline I.D. card, and a letter from the airline, on its letterhead, with the itinerary.
5) Letter by Sponsor/Invitation letter
As applicable (i.e., for participation in athletic or performing arts event or competition, scholar conferences ), copy of letter by sponsors or invitation letter with detailed information on the event and conditions of attendance;
Notice: the documents listed above are not all-inclusive. The Consulate General may request further documents at its discretion.
6) Consular Fees
To calculate the total visa fee, one must add up:
a)
  Tourist visa fee: it changes according to the applicant's nationality. 
b)
 
Reciprocity fee: citizens from certain countries (the U.S. included) must pay and additional non-refundable reciprocity fee.   
c)
 
Processing fee: unless the visa application is submitted personally by either the applicant or by a member of his family (father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, husband or wife), a non-refundable processing fee applies.

II-Requirements for a tourist visa:
The Consulate General in Chicago ONLY accepts payments with Money Order issued by the U.S. Postal Service payable to “Consulate General of Brazil in Chicago”.
Multiple applications submitted together may be covered by one single money order for the total sum. When submitted by mail, multiple applications may be covered by one single money order if they are sent in the same U.S.P.S. envelope.
III-Processing time
Due to changes in the system for producing consular documents, until further notice, the Consulate General in Chicago now request 10 business days to process the visa. For services requested by mail the period is extended to 15 business days.

a)
  the time an application is held by a visa service or a travel agency;
b)
  the time the applicant takes to provide additional information/documents eventually required by the Consulate;
c)
  the time in the mail.
During high season and in the case of group visas, longer processing time periods may apply.

A Chinese visa is a permit issued by the Chinese visa authorities to an alien for entry into, exit from or transit through China. The Chinese visa authorities may issue a Diplomatic, Courtesy, Service or Ordinary Visa to an alien according to his/her status, purpose of visit to China or passport type.
 
 How to apply
Visa applications should be submitted by the applicant or someone else entrusted in person. It cannot be done through mail. No appointment is required.
 Documents required :
1)
  One completely filled out Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China with one passport photo affix to it.
2)
  Original passport with at least one blank visa page and it's valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of application
3)   Non-US citizens are required to submit a photocopy of the valid US visa or Green Card.

Tourist Visa (L Visa) For sightseeing, visiting family or friends
US citizens may apply for a Single-entry (valid for 3-6 months from the date of issuance), a Double-entry (valid for 6 months from the date of issuance) or a Multiple-entry (valid for 6 or 12 months from the date of issuance) L visa as needed. The duration of stay of L visa is normally 90 days, which means the holder of the visa may stay in China for up to 90 days from the date of entry.
 Processing Time :
Applicant will be given a pickup form when submitting the application. Applicant or someone else can pick up the visa by submitting the pickup form.
No passports can be released without this form. Regular service: 5 working days from the date of submitting the application. Expedited Service: 3-4 working days from the date of submitting the application and the extra $20/visa will be charged.
Rush Service: 1-2 working days from the date of submitting the application and the extra $30/visa will be charged. If the application is submitted to our window before 11am, it could be picked up at 2:00pm on the same day.
 Visa Fees :
Cash, money order and cashier's check are accepted for personal pickup.
Money order and cashier's check are accepted for mail back service.
Please make the money order or cashier's check payable to Chinese Consulate in Chicago.

   India Tourist Visa :
1)
  Valid/signed original passport (valid for 6 months beyond stay; with at least one blank visa  page).

7)
Proof of departure--computer generated flight itinerary from the travel agent.
8)
Complete the Global Reservation Form. This is Travisa's Service Order Form. You must include a copy of this form with all other supporting documents.  
9)
Fees - Consular Fees and - Service Fee - 24 - Hours and same day processing are available for additional fees. Service fee for regular processing is $49.00. Rush service fee of $99 will be assessed for any attempts to process the visa in less than regular processing time.
10)
India Visa Validity - Indian visas are based  on consular fee paid. They can be for 6 months, 1 year, or 5 years. 10 year visas are for former Indian nationals.

Washington DC -Visas are usually processed in 5 working days. 4 days or less rush service is available for additional fees.
Chicago - 7 working days.
New York - 7 days.
San Francisco - 7 days.

What countries are members of the Schengen agreement?
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden are all members of the Schengen agreement. As of August, 1 1998 travelers to these countries whose purpose of travel is tourism or business for stays up to 90 days may receive a visa for a short stay which is valid for all the above countries. A Schengen visa issued by an embassy or consulate of the above countries allows the holder to travel freely in all of these countries. However, visas for travel to Monaco and French Overseas Departments and Territories may only be issue by a French Embassy or Consulate.

If you will visit several Schengen countries, you must apply for a visa through the embassy or consulate of the country which is your main destination·

 UK Tourist VISA
 Passport Requirements:
Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, with at least one blank visa page available for visa stamp(s). Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for visa stamps.
 Visa Application Form :
One visa application form per applicant. Please note: The te of the United Kingdom has introduced a web-based visa application form. You may access this form by clicking on the "Visa Application Form" heading. Follow the step-by-step instruct ions.
Your application must be submitted and paid for online. Please print a copy of the completed form and mail it to Air Tours for processing. Failure to complete this form will delay the processing of your visa.
 Photo Requirements:
Two recent 2 x 2 passport type photograph(s), in color, front view and with a plain/light background.
 Official Invitation:
A letter of invitation from applicant’s host explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel. In addition, the letter must indicate the length of stay, place of stay, and contact information.
 Proof of Departure :
A copy of confirmed hotel and/or cruise reservation(s.) If staying in various hotels, please provide copies of each reservation. A letter from inviting family member or friend is required if they are providing accommodations to the applicant.
 Financial Requirements :
Evidence of sufficient funds to support stay in destination such as pay stubs, traveler’s cheques, and/or most recent bank statement. Please submit original copies of any documents provided.
 Residency Status:
Copy of US Permanent Resident Card or valid visa. US visa holders should have original I-94 or I-20 stapled to their passport. d.
 Other Requirements : An original letter of employment,
certifying that the applicant is an employee of the company and in good standing, is required. The letter must indicate the dates for which leave was approved and the intended date of return to the company.
 Special Instructions :
Your visa application must be initiated online by clicking on the Visa Application Form link above. Applicants must follow the step-by-step instructions and pay visas fees online. Upon completion of the application form, the applicant will be prompted to schedule an appointment to submit biometric information. This biometric information consists of scans of all 10 fingers and a full-face digital photograph. Your visa application will not be processed until you have provided your biometric information.
